Ghanaian gospel musician Nacee has wadded into the ongoing controversy around the comedy skits performed by Ghana Jesus, Mmebusem.
Nacee believes the detractors of Mmebusem’s acts, especially pastors, are people who only want attention and hence choose to criticize him openly.
Speaking in an interview He said; “If someone is doing something wrong get closer and correct the person instead of publicly lambasting the person”.
He further added that anyone who is genuine in their concern and would like to advise Mmebusem would first try to understand issues before going ahead to do so.
Mmebusem has become a household name after Ghanaians warmed up to his many comedy skits, portraying Jesus as the black man.
He has however come under a lot of backlash from people who believe what he is doing is simply blasphemy.
