Ghanaian Afro-pop artist, Wendy Shay, has sent out an apology on behalf of herself and her management to an underground artist for what she describes an unfortunate event.

During the ‘Shay Concert’ held on the 20th of December at the West Hills Mall, an underground artist took the stage to also display hos craft.

The performance of the said artist was cut short after an individual believed to be part of the organisers of the show pulled out the mic from the artist.

In a video circulating on social media, the artist can be seen holding his head, in what he believes is a missed opportunity.

Wendy wrote;

“My attention has been drawn to this video circulating on social media about this young Artist who came over to support my concert last Friday and was unfortunately stopped from exhibiting his art. Myself together with management( Rufftown Records) wanna apologize for the incident that occurred. #shayconcert19 #rufftown #SHAYGANG”

Medikal, has also, however, expressed interest in helping the young rapper find his feet in the entertainment industry. He took to his Twitter account to write,

“This video made me so sad, it reminds me of when I was coming up! Somebody help me find this guy! I will do one song with him and finance the music video as well !”
