President John Dramani Mahama has in a message, congratulated the senior national team, the Black Stars for qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
The Black Stars on Sunday October 12, defeated Comoros in their final Group I qualifier 1-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana thus qualifies for the 2026 World Cup, joining Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.
On Monday and Tuesday, four other automatic African qualifiers would be decided with Benin, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
