As part of the Christmas festivities, the ex-president and leader of the New Democratic Party (NDC), John Dramani Mahama organized a party for some children in Accra.

The former president and his son, Sharaf, played a game of musical chairs as part of fun activities of the day.

Musical chairs is a popular game at parties, where participants dance around fewer arranged chairs whilst music is being played and try to quickly grab a seat when the music stops.

Whoever isn’t seated when the music stops, is eliminated.

Both Mahama and his son were determined to emerge victorious in the game and employed various tactics.

While Mahama kept turning the chair to his direction, hoping the song stops in his favour, Sharaf kept delaying his moves, also anticipating the stop of the music.

Eventually, the ex-president beat his son to emerge victorious, amid cheers and laughter.
