MTN urges media to be more knowledgeable in digitalisation

Miss Efua Falconer, the Manager, Corporate Communications, MTN Ghana has urged the media to be more knowledgeable and remain relevant, as the nation advances in digital transformation.

She said journalists and media practitioners in general ought to position themselves well to be able to leverage the evolving technology, and thereby contribute meaningfully to accelerated national development.

“In fact, no media professional should be left behind in the digital shift as technology remains essential in advancing the course of the media,” Ms Falconer stated when speaking at the 2025 edition of the MTN media and stakeholders’ forum in Sunyani.

Ms Falconer urged the media to leverage numerous online opportunities, upgrade and improve their knowledge in digitalisation.

She said MTN Ghana remained committed to supporting the media to deepen their knowledge in digital literacy.

Earlier, Mrs Regina Benneh Siaw, the Bono Regional Chairperson of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), commended MTN Ghana for its support to the Association and the media in general and hoped that the company’s relationship with the media would be strengthened for mutual benefit.
