Parin FC strengthens grip on Division Three League

Parin FC, a Division Three club based in Tantra Hills, Accra, continues to assert its dominance in the Accra North District League after edging out Nima Kings 2-1 at the Borstal Institute Astro Turf on Saturday.

Entering the match with confidence, Parin FC took the lead in the first half when Nima Kings’ Samson Essah inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under intense pressure.

Nima Kings fought back in the second half, converting a penalty to level the score and setting the stage for a fiercely contested finish.

Both teams pushed hard for the winner, with end-to-end action keeping fans on edge. It was clear that either side could snatch victory.

In the closing stages, Parin FC’s top scorer seized on a goalmouth scramble to slot home the decisive goal, sealing the win.

With nine points from a possible 12, Parin FC is now well-positioned to challenge for the Division Three title if they maintain their current form.

Head Coach Eric Nyarko expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance but emphasized the need to improve their conversion rate.
