My girlfriend received a brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max as a gift about a month ago. The package had a note that read, “From King.” I asked her who gave her the phone and what their relationship was, but she claimed she had no idea who “King” was and said I was being jealous.
Out of curiosity, I checked her phone when I had the chance. There was no contact saved as King. Still, her behaviour changed. Her line was often busy, call logs were deleted, and sometimes I could not reach her all day. She would later blame it on low battery or network issues.
Last Friday evening, around 8pm, I decided to pass by her place after work because her phone was off again. Before reaching her house, I saw her sitting in a parked Hyundai with a man. I approached, greeted him, and asked if he was King. He said yes.
I explained that the lady was my girlfriend and that she had mentioned him before. Before the man could respond, my girlfriend became furious. She jumped out of the car, shouted at me, insulted me, and asked what business I had being there. She caused a scene, so I left.
We have been together for three years. I give her almost half my salary, about GHS 900, every month for upkeep. I bought her an iPhone 11 Pro Max last year, even though I have never bought myself a new phone. I genuinely did everything I could for her.
Later that night, she called, but instead of apologising or explaining, she shouted at me for coming to her house uninvited. I ended the relationship. Since then, she has not reached out or asked for a second chance. She seems fine, but I am broken. I cannot focus, and my heart feels very heavy.
I am in deep pain and do not know what to do next. Please advise me.
