Mr Patrick Boamah, Assemblyman for Assin Bereku/ Dadiesoaba Electoral Area, has awarded 20 best performing pupils of Nyamebekyere D/A Basic School in the Assin North District of the Central Region.
The awardees received items such as school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, and school uniforms.
Mr Emmanuel Kwabena Odoom, headteacher of the school, who presented the items on behalf of the Assemblyman, explained that the initiative was aimed at encouraging academic excellence and fostering healthy competition among the pupils.
He urged them to study hard and focus on their goals, reminding them that education was key to a successful future.
He cautioned the pupils against engaging in activities that could hinder their academic progress.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Assemblyman, saying the recognition had boosted their confidence to achieve more.
