The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) confirmed that this prompt and coordinated response successfully contained the hazard, safeguarding motorists and surrounding communities from a potential catastrophe.

The tanker driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Margaret Marquat Hospital in Kpando for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

Following the emergency operation, the tanker was safely recovered, the scene was declared safe, and normal traffic flow was restored.

In a statement, the GNFS praised the professionalism and teamwork of its personnel.
