A delegation from Caveman Watches, an Accra-based watch manufacturing company, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Anthony Dzamefe, has paid a courtesy call on Goldbod Jewellery to explore a potential collaboration between the two Ghanaian brands.
Mr Dzamefe said the meeting focused on opportunities for Caveman and Goldbod Jewellery to jointly develop a new range of gold watches for both the local and international markets.
He highlighted Caveman’s advanced production capacity, noting that the company operated with state-of-the-art machinery and had the capability to manufacture timepieces that met global standards.
Ms Gertrude Emefa Donkor, Esq., the Managing Director of Goldbod Jewellery Limited, commended the initiative and expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of introducing a gold watch collection.
She assured the Caveman delegation of Goldbod Jewellery’s full support, emphasising that the proposed collaboration aligned strongly with the company’s vision and mandate.
Ms Donkor noted that the partnership would not only strengthen both brands but also position them on the global stage, while promoting Ghanaian excellence and craftsmanship.
She reaffirmed Goldbod Jewellery’s readiness to collaborate with private sector players to drive value addition, innovation and national development.
The Managing Director said partnerships of that nature were critical to strengthening Ghana’s jewellery and manufacturing sector, creating jobs and positioning locally made products competitively on the global market, in line with the broader vision of advancing the Ghana agenda.
She assured the delegation of her intention to visit Caveman’s production facility to gain first-hand insight into its operations in support of national growth.
