Mr Edmund Batse, Hohoe Constituency 1st Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged delegates to comport themselves in the ongoing presidential primary of the NPP.
He noted that anyone who committed an electoral offence did so at his or her own risk.
Mr Batse speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after casting his ballot at the St Francis College of Education basketball court, said he was pleased with the smooth process.
He called on delegates to go home after voting and return after polls to observe counting of votes.
Mr Enoch Danso Agyekum, Hohoe Municipal Electoral Officer, said the cooperation from delegates had been good.
He noted that six physically challenged and indisposed delegates were given priorities to cast their ballots at 1040 hours.
Two of them were brought in a taxi to the voting centre and were assisted by electoral officials and the police.
Mr Leonard Kofi Kudese, a delegate, said he was elated about the smooth process and hopeful that the poll would end without any incidents.
He noted that the vote was to elect a bold and decisive leader that would lead the Party into the 2028 general elections, win power, and help in the transformation of Ghana.
DCOP Oduro Amaning, the Volta North Regional Commander, Ghana Police Service, visited the centre with some officers to observe the exercise.
355 delegates voted as at 1041 hours.
