Police in Ashanti Region have arrested a 53-year-old man for allegedly selling alcoholic drinks laced with narcotics.
Adjei Owusu Afriyie was apprehended during a raid on a drinking spot in Akyeremade.
Authorities seized dozens of bottles and barrels of local gin (akpeteshie) and other beverages suspected of being contaminated.
The items are undergoing forensic analysis as the investigation continues.
