The North Dayi District Chief Executive and Anfoega traditional leaders have inspected ongoing development projects, reaffirming commitment to expand essential facilities across the communities.
Mr Ernest Adevor, the District Chief Executive for North Dayi District on Thursday February 12, 2026, toured several ongoing development projects in the Anfoega communities alongside Togbega Tepre Hodo IV, Paramount Chief of the Anfoega Traditional Area, and his elders.
The delegation inspected Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at Denui/Aveti and Akukome, both of which are progressing steadily and expected to enhance primary healthcare delivery upon completion.
They also visited the Wadamaxe CHPS compound, a legacy project that has been fully completed, handed over and is currently serving residents of Anfoega Wadamaxe.

Mr Adevor noted that improving healthcare access remains a top priority for the Assembly, adding that ongoing investments in CHPS facilities are designed to bring essential services closer to underserved communities.
The tour further took the team to the staff bungalows at Anfoega Dzana, which are being developed to provide accommodation for key public-sector workers assigned to the district.
The group also inspected several sites earmarked for mechanised borehole projects, aimed at expanding access to potable water and supporting the daily needs of households across the traditional area.
Togbega Tepre Hodo IV expressed delight at the pace of work, commending the Assembly for its collaborative approach and commitment to the development aspirations of the Anfoega communities.
“We are hopeful that even more transformative projects will come under the Reset Government of John Mahama,” he said, expressing confidence in the district’s development trajectory.

Mr Adevor said the Assembly’s dedication to supporting the needs of all communities, pledging to continue working closely with traditional authorities to advance infrastructure, social services and local development initiatives.
