Atwima Kwanwoma Assembly retains Anthony Kwame Nsiah as PM 

Mr Anthony Kwame Nsiah has been re-elected as Presiding Member (PM) of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly for a fourth consecutive term, following a successful election held at a general assembly meeting. 

Out of the 48 assembly members, 43 were present and participated in the voting process, with all 43 voting in favour of Mr Nsiah, representing 100 per cent of the valid votes cast.  

He went unopposed, underscoring the strong confidence the assembly members have in his leadership.

Mrs Grace Agyemang Asamoah, the District Chief Executive, ahead of the exercise, urged members to ensure a smooth process, describing the exercise as a ceremonial reaffirmation of their collective commitment to the district’s development.  

She called on members to prioritise the interests of the district and work together in unity to advance progress. 

Alhaji Mohammed Shaibu, the District Coordinating Director, also encouraged active participation, stressing that the position of Presiding Member was pivotal to guiding Assembly deliberations and ensuring effective coordination of its activities. 

Mr Nsiah expressed appreciation to Assembly Members for the unanimous endorsement, describing the outcome as a strong demonstration of unity, trust, and shared commitment within the Assembly. 

He further acknowledged the support of the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma, Mr Kofi Amankwa-Manu, and the District Chief Executive for their guidance and collaboration.

The PM pledged to intensify efforts to promote teamwork, serve with humility and accountability, and strengthen stakeholder engagement to advance the Assembly’s development agenda.
