This followed an earlier decision to annul 2,080 appointments over concerns that the previous administration had circumvented established civil service recruitment procedures.

In a notable outcome, 338 appointments involving persons with disabilities were upheld, having been found to comply with due process.

Commenting on the outcome, the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, emphasized that the review was not driven by political considerations.

Instead, he said, it was aimed at reinforcing due process, accountability, and good governance within the public service.
