Reports in media spaces suggest that Viasat 1 TV is coming back to take over from Kwese TV.
This comes 4 years after Kwese TV, a 24-hour sports channel took over from Viasat 1 TV.
According to reports, the acquisition deal has already been concluded.
As at the time of filing this report, Viasat 1 seems to have started test transmission on the airwaves, with the message;
“Your No 1 entertainer is BACK. Stay tuned for more entertainment”
Rumours made rounds a few weeks ago on the possible sale of Kwese TV to new owners and it looks like Viasat 1 simply came back for its baby.
