Atebubu College of Education donates over 600 plastic chairs to schools

Dr Samuel Addae Boateng, the Principal of the Atebubu College of Education, has presented plastic chairs and tables to schools in the Atebubu/Amantin Municipality of the Bono East Region.

On behalf of the college, Dr Boateng donated 650 plastic chairs to be distributed among the Atebubu and the New Konkrompe Senior High Schools (SHSs), with 54 basic schools in the Atebubu/Amantin Municipality receiving 10 plastic chairs each.

Speaking at a short ceremony at Atebubu, the College Principal explained that the gesture was to help tackle some of the emerging challenges in the beneficiary schools to improve teaching and learning.

“The donation is to also aid the comfort of students and teachers who visit those schools for observation and teaching practices during instructional time”, Dr Boateng stated and advised the schools to put the chairs to good use.

On behalf of the schools, Mr Micheal Owusu, a teacher at the Atebubu Seventh Day Adventist Junior High School, thanked the college for the assistance and pledged to make good use of the chairs.
