Trailer for the movie ‘Efunsetan Aniwura’ centered on the life of legendary women leader (Iyalode) in Ibadan has been released.
The historic movie was shot in locations in Ibadan (Oyo State) and Ilesa (Osun State) and reveals the long buried history of the Yoruba’s most powerful woman.
Cast in the movie include Clarion Chukwura, Alex Osifo, Funmi Holder, Jaiye Kuti, Adunni Ade, Sola Fosudo, Ebun Oloyede, Wale Elesho, Sukanmi Omobolanle, Binta Ayo Mogaji and Yemi Solade.
The film was produced by Funmi Holder and directed by Joshua Ojo.
‘Efunsetan Aniwura’ is expected to hit the cinemas in the last week of January, 2020.
