Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke thrilled fans in London with a standout concert boosted by surprise appearances from Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, a moment Bizzle Entertainment’s CEO Berny Sarfo hailed as a major milestone.
The concert, held at Electric Brixton on Friday, May 29, 2026, was organised by Bizzle Entertainment and Kilimanjaro Live, as part of efforts to project Ghanaian music onto the international stage.
The show drew a vibrant crowd of music lovers, with Kweku Smoke delivering an energetic set that reinforced his growing appeal.
The event marked Kweku Smoke’s first major headline concert in London, underlining his steady rise within the Ghanaian Hip-hop scene.
The highlight of the night came when award-winning rapper Sarkodie and dancehall star Shatta Wale made unexpected appearances on stage, sending the audience into a frenzy and creating one of the standout moments for Ghanaian music in the UK this year.
Mr Berny Sarfo, also known as Bizzle, described the moment as the fulfilment of a long-held personal ambition.
“In June 2022, I told my mom and dad I would play Shatta Wale and Sarkodie one day. Yesterday, May 29, it came to pass. God did in my dream is now a reality,” he posted on social media.
Mr Sarfo noted that bringing three major Ghanaian acts onto one stage in London demonstrated the potential of strategic partnerships in expanding the global footprint of the country’s music industry.
Bizzle Entertainment, a London-based Ghanaian-owned events company, has been at the forefront of organising major African music concerts in the UK, working with top artists and delivering large-scale concerts for diaspora audiences.
The successful staging of Kweku Smoke’s concert adds to Bizzle Entertainment’s growing portfolio of international shows and reinforces its ambition to push Ghanaian music to larger arenas.
Following the event, Bizzle Entertainment is on a major quest to scale up future productions, including a major concert for Sarkodie at London’s O2 Arena next year.
