President John Dramani Mahama has officially appointed three senior officers to the rank of Deputy Comptroller-General at the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS).
Following recommendations from the GIS Governing Council and the Public Services Commission, the President has named Evelyn Lolonyo Lostu, Faisal Disu, and Philip Peter Andoh to head the Finance, Operations, and Legal directorates, respectively.
In a statement celebrating the appointments, the Service praised the trio for their “sterling performance and loyalty to duty.”

The new deputies are expected to bring renewed energy to the administration as they tackle the complex challenges of migration management.

Comptroller-General Samuel Basintale Amadu warmly welcomed the officers into their new roles, promising the full backing of the management team.

“I wish them great success,” he said. “Their expertise is crucial as we continue to prioritise good governance and the security of our nation.”
