A woman and two children have been confirmed dead after being swept away by floodwaters in Dome.
The three victims were found submerged following hours of torrential rainfall that inundated large swathes of the community.
Their identities have not yet been officially released by authorities.
The Dome tragedy is the latest in a series of incidents that have paralysed the capital.
Severe flooding also hit Alajo, Kaneshie, Adabraka, Weija, Ablekuman, Spintex and the Mallam–Kasoa Highway, submerging homes, stranding motorists, and causing extensive property damage.
Emergency services have urged residents in low-lying areas to evacuate to higher ground when water levels rise and to avoid attempting to cross floodwaters on foot or by vehicle.
The public is advised to contact the national emergency line, 112, for assistance.
