The illicit consignment was discovered on Thursday aboard a commercial vehicle travelling from Techiman to Wa, bearing registration number AS 4874-25.

According to police sources, the female suspect has admitted to transporting the narcotics to Sengye, a community near Bole, allegedly for supply to illegal mining operations.
The suspects reportedly offered the arresting officers GHC300,000 in an attempt to secure their release.
The officers declined the bribe and proceeded with the arrest.
The seized substance is currently being prepared for forensic testing to confirm its composition.
The suspects will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigations.
