Mr Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, is set to hold the fifth edition of his Quarterly Accountability Series on Sunday, August 30 at Dekpor-Dome.
The event, scheduled for 1800 hours, will provide an opportunity for the MP to account for his constituents on developments in the Ketu North Constituency and activities undertaken in fulfilment of his key campaign promises.
Mr Agbana, speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the programme would also feature discussions on the achievements of the government of President John Dramani Mahama since assuming office.
The Municipal Chief Executive is also expected to provide briefs on development activities and programmes being undertaken by the Ketu North Municipal Assembly, while the MP will update constituents on proceedings and activities in Parliament.
A key feature of the programme will be an update on Mr Agbana’s key promises to the people of Ketu North, including developments under the ‘Adzogbe’ agenda.
The event will be broadcast live on all radio stations operating in the Ketu North Municipality to enable residents who may be unable to attend in person to follow the discussions.
The fifth edition will also feature an open forum, allowing constituents to ask questions, make contributions and engage directly with their Member of Parliament and other officials on issues affecting the development of the municipality.
Mr Agbana said the Quarterly Accountability Series formed part of his commitment to transparency, accountability and regular engagement with the people of Ketu North.
