Ghanaian born UK based artist Fuse Odg has launched the African doll, better called ‘Nana Dolls’ in Accra.
The artist who is very passionate about promoting the African agenda and drawing the attention of the world to Africa, did the launching today at the Melcom branch in Achimota.
The dolls which depict the natural nature of the African woman, will help African children better understand and appreciate themselves and move away from the expected look of a woman according to ‘white’ standards.

Taking to twitter to announce his excitement, Fuse ODG wrote;
“I remember going to the big stores in GH & seeing all white dolls & how bad it can affect our kids’ mentality. I’m gassed to announce that our amazing Nana Dolls will be launched at @MelcomGhana today (@ Achimota) Meet me there 11am-2pm! Let’s goooo”
