The Ghana Premier League week 3 produced interesting results as Asante Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the season while Hearts of Oak earned their first win.
Kotoko were beaten 1-0 by Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi. The goal came as early as the 7th minute when Kofi Owusu put the ball at the back of the net but Porcupine Warriors failed to salvage a point.
Meanwhile, in Accra, it was pure joy for Hearts of Oak who tasted their first victory after starting the season with back to back defeats.
They won 2-1 against Ebusua Dwarfs thanks to well-taken free kicks by Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi.
Elsewhere, Aduana Stars moved to the top of the league after their striker Yahaya Mohammed scored two goals in 2-0 win against King Faisal.
AshantiGold are second following a 2-0 home victory against Eleven Wonders while Dreams, WAFA and Medeama all failed to pick maximum points for the first time this season.
