Gospel artiste, Empress Gifty has bared it all in an interview, about how all her friends, including her spiritual fathers, abandoned her during her divorce.
Gifty said the people she counted on and trusted were the ones who neglected her and left her to her fate during the period.
She recounts divorce as the hardest time in her life and though she was ready to let go of her career in order to make her marriage work, that did not help.
“Between 2014 and 2015, I decided to let go of my music career just to make somebody happy. But what I realised was that, apart from God, you cannot please anybody on their earth,” she explained.
Gifty Osei was married to Prophet Prince Elisha Osei for ten years until their enviable marriage came to an end in 2020.
She is married to politician Hopeson Adorye, whom she says fights all her battles for her.
