Singer MzVee has debunked claims that she will be unable to perform songs recorded while with former label, Lynx Entertainment.

Some online news portals reported that the artiste will not be able to perform any of her songs due to her contract with Lynx Entertainment.

These reports claimed that the ‘Natural Girl’ hit maker’s agreement with the label indicates that all songs recorded belong to the label.

However, in an interview with Zionfelix, MzVee stated that her contract allows her perform songs recorded under Lynx Entertainment even after her departure.

”It is for both of us because in the contract we had, we split everything percentage-wise. So I can still perform my songs”, she said.

MzVee however declined to reveal the ratio for sharing revenue accrued from performance of the songs.

‘I can’t give you the technical side of it but we are all going to make money’, she added.

The singer also revealed that Lynx Entertainment doesn’t own her social media pages.

While with Lynx Entertainment for about seven years, she recorded songs like ‘Natural Girl’, ‘Dancehall Queen’, ‘Come and See My Moda’, ‘Daavi’, ‘Bend Down’, ‘Rewind’, ‘Sing My Name’ and many others.

MzVee and Lynx Entertainment ended their working relationship in 2019.
