Alexander Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo has called out to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for neglecting him since they came to power.
Speaking in an interview, Agya Koo expressed his disappoint in the fact that some people in the party tell others he has been offered a lucrative job, while this is highly untrue.
He lamented saying;
“Now it has gotten to the work, some of us we know cannot sit in the office. But we have got to a point when some people should say ‘ooh this particular person, we have to reach out to him”
“I hear people say Agya Koo has been given contracts to haul cocoa, cement and fuel.. Especially when I get to London and other places, I hear them say Agya Koo you have this, Agya Koo you have that.. meanwhile I got nothing. That’s why I want to set the records straight. I got nothing. I don’t haul fuel. I don’t haul cocoa… I don’t haul cement as I sit with you here. If they are now making plans to give me these contracts, I don’t know, but as I sit here, I got nothing, he lamented,” he concluded.
Prior to the 2016 elections, Agya Koo was one of the many celebrities who showed their support for Nana Akuffo Addo which eventually saw him win the elections.
