Ghana’s dancehall king, Shatta Wale has released a song in memory of retired NBA legend, Kobe Bryant and daughter, Gianna Bryant who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
Kobe and Gianna died alongside 7 other people when their helicopter crashed on its way to Thousand Oaks, where Gianna and two of her teammates had a game and Kobe Bryant was expected to coach.
According to Shatta Wale, he was motivated by the five-time champion and seven NBA finals star, Kobe Bryant, to start playing basketball as a hobby.
In a Facebook post, the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker wrote: “Me playing basketball was from this Great Legend ..RIP #Kobe ??.”
His tribute song was attached to the post and fans can listen below:
