Veteran Ghanaian artist, Lucky Mensah, has stated he does not regret switching sides from the opposition New Democratic Congress (NDC) to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Lucky says members of the NPP treat him a lot better and are more supportive of him than the NDC ever was.

Speaking in an interview, the ‘old school’ hitmaker said, he will still campaign for the NPP in the upcoming December polls, because apart from the money he receives, the party treats him like one of their own.

 In his words;

“I don’t regret campaigning for NPP, they have been more supportive than when the NDC was. I will surely vote for them come December polls. Apart from the money they give me, they make me feel at home anytime I’m with them, they remember the campaign I did for them. NDC was not supportive, NDC didn’t show much love as NPP is showing to me now, I think I’m OK being in the camp of the NPP than when I was with the NDC. Though I did a campaign song for the late Prof. Atta Mills, I never had the opportunity to have an encounter with him”.

Lucky Mensah switched camp during the 2016 elections after leaving the NDC for what he says was unfair treatment meted out to him.
