''I’m ready for any pressure from media and artistes'' – New VGMA PRO

Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse, Robert Klah, is gearing up for the controversies that usually accompany the Ghana Music Awards.

The awards scheme for several years has been rocked with a number of controversies from artistes and sometimes the media.

Well, the new Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse, Robert Klah, has stated that he is ready to face any pressure from any artiste or media house.

”We have been through the pressure but the only thing is that in the past I have not been in the forefront. We have done events for long and pressure is part of the terrain.I am ready for any pressure from the media or any artiste”, he said on Happy FM.

He added that nominations have closed and revealed that they received hundreds of entries from artistes and their representatives.

Robert Klah said that a 17-member board for the VGMA is yet to constituted for this year’s awards.

”Nominations have been good. What is left is for the 17-member board to review it”, he added.

The organizers of the event have maintained their indefinite ban on two of Ghana’s biggest acts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
