Abutia-Teti has witnessed the enthronement of Togbe Keh Kwasi VIII, as Senior Mankrado, amid goodwill messages from leaders present.
Togbe Keh Kwasi VIII, known in private life as Mr Ayebi Mawusi Eyestar, was enstooled on January 6 at Abutia Teti in the Ho West District.
The colourful traditional ceremony attracted chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, and residents, who gathered to witness the enstoolment of a new Senior Mankrado of the Abutia Traditional Area.

Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament of Ho West, congratulated the newly enstooled chief, describing him as a friend and brother with a deep commitment to community development.
“Wishing you the very best as you mount this noble leadership role. May your reign be marked by wisdom, unity, and progress for the good people of Abutia,” Mr Bedzrah said.

On behalf of the Ho West District Assembly, the District Chief Executive, Mr Francis Dusey, popularly known as Profer, also extended warm congratulations to Togbe Keh Kwasi VIII.
“As District Chief Executive, I am confident that your leadership will foster greater unity, lasting peace and accelerated development for Abutia Teti, Ho West District and the Volta Region,” he stated.
Mr Dusey described the enstoolment as a well-deserved honour and wished the new Senior Mankrado a fruitful and impactful reign in service to his people.
The ceremony also highlighted the traditional authority of Togbe Keh Kwasi VIII as Senior Mankrado (Dutor) and King of the Agbakoe Clan of Abutia Teti.
