The Accra Academy 2001 year group delegation has paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kwame Tieku, Chief Executive Officer of Star Oil Ghana.
The primary purpose of the visit was to congratulate Mr. Tieku and Star Oil on the company’s 25th Anniversary, acknowledging his significant role in advancing Ghana’s oil and gas sector and championing indigenous excellence.

A key outcome of the meeting was the official presentation of the Accra Academy 2001 Year Group Legacy Project: the comprehensive renovation of the school’s Dining Hall.
This initiative, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the group’s graduation, aims to directly improve student welfare, enhance the overall learning environment, and create a lasting infrastructural legacy.
Mr. Kwame Tieku warmly received the project proposal and pledged his personal support and contribution towards its successful execution. The delegation expressed profound gratitude for his immediate commitment.
The group reaffirmed its dedication to completing the renovation, targeting a formal project presentation during the Accra Academy 2026 Homecoming Celebration.
