The two-year marriage of Ghanaian actress and producer Bibi Bright is “almost” on the verge of collapsing, according to GraphicOnline reports.
Bibi Bright and her heartthrob Akwesi Boateng tied the knot in July 2018 in a beautiful ceremony attended by her celebrity friends.
However, a friend close to the couple has revealed that things have gotten very bad between them after Boateng allegedly had an affair with another actress.
“As we speak now things are not okay between them and they are planning to divorce. I am very close to them and I know they can never come back together again,” said the source.
The couple share two kids together.
The source told the publication that Bibi Bright was shocked and angry at the same time after learning the truth because she loved him so much.
“Bibi and Akwasi have known each other for years and were madly in love but not since the cheating took place. There is tension between them at the moment and family members have tried their best to resolve the situation but it looks like nothing is working out,” the source added.
Bibi Bright, who is currently the Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Council, refused to comment on the matter when Graphic Showbiz contacted her.
