The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service is reported to have detained controversial Ghanaian actress and video vixen Akuapem Poloo.
The arrest, according to reports, follows her failure to honour invitations by the security service after she posted a nude photo with her 7-year-old son on Instagram on his birthday.
The raunchy snap posted on June 30 sparked outrage online as some members of the public condemned the picture.
Per reports Akuapem Poloo – real name Rosemond Brown – has been handed over to personnel at the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU).
She had apologised for her actions but it appears her troubles with authorities have just begun.

According to the CID, she was expected to report at the CID office at 10:00 am on Wednesday but reports say she didn’t show up as of noon yesterday.
The Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Police Service, Superintendent Mike Baah in an interview with Peace FM revealed Akuapem Poloo didn’t answer his phone call when he called to verify why she didn’t show up at the time she was expected to report.
