Highlife musician Akwaboah Snr and his son Akwaboah Jnr have teamed up for the remix of the classic tune ‘Awerekyekyere’.
Akwaboah Snr, who is currently blind, released the original song some decades ago and has since been the favorite of many.
The remix sees father and son display their amazing singing and keyboard skills in the new music video.
The masterpiece was recorded live and released on August 30, which happens to be Akwaboah Jnr’s birthday.
Akwaboah Jnr deems it an honour to have a remix version of his father’s song with him, describing it as “a timeless song that will be played for generations to come.”.
