Popular football administrator Alhaji Grunsah is praying politician Kennedy Agyapong will invest in his club, King Faisal FC.
Alhaji Grunsah is the bankroller and founder of the Kumasi-based team but is willing to sell the club due to financial problems.
And according, he has only contacted Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, denying media reports that former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour has invested in the club.

“We [are] still, we [are] still [looking for sponsors]. It is not official [that] Osei Kuffuor or no. Now, myself, I never spoke to anyone [apart from] Kennedy Agyapong. We are discussing with him. We are praying,” Grunsah said.
King Faisal are part of the 18 teams that will be playing in the Ghana Premier League after they and Great Olympics were unanimously accepted into the league by GFA Congress last month.
The new Ghana Premier League season will start on December 28, 2019.
