Popular Ghanaian highlife musician, Daniel Amakye Dede is suing Enock Nana Yaw Oduro Agyei, better known as Trigmatic, for defamation.
Amakye is seeking GH₵1 million from Trigmatic for reportedly saying he did not write his own songs and used the services of a ghostwriter.
Speaking in an interview, Amakye Dede says the “ill-motive and pull- him-down” comments made by the rapper is part of a grand scheme to undermine his achievements in the music industry.

According to him, it took a lot to build the reputation and regard he has now, and sentiments like these lower his image before his right-thinking fans and people who genuinely enjoy his music.
In his words, he says Trigmatic, “ will prove to me who writes my songs for me in court. I won’t allow him to use me as a scapegoat,” He says comments made by the rapper
