There is drama on Twitter after a user reposted an old video of Sarkodie claiming that American rapper Ace Hood approached him for their collaboration.
Though the American denied the Ghanaian’s claim in 2015, the issue has popped up again and this time Ace Hood has called Sarkodie a liar.
Ace Hood, says he never contacted Sarkodie’s agents in America to feature the Ghanaian rapper on the song titled ‘New Guy’ in 2015.
A Twitter user identified as Nana Fapimso shared the video which captures Sarkodie saying:
“I didn’t make any announcement because I kinda doubted it which is bad but such a call makes you feel like it’s a prank. So I got my agents in America who contacted me and said Ace Hood rather contacted”
When he was asked if Ace Hood was the first to contact, he said, “Of course he made an approach. Mostly it happens the other way round where Africans try to get the attention of these people”
Ace Hood quickly replied, “A lie smh. But I wish him well!”.
