Ghana captain Andre Ayew was on target for the fourth straight game for Swansea, who fell to a 3-1 defeat against Brentford in the English Championship on Thursday afternoon.

Swansea were down by first-half goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Ollie Watkins, but the Swans rallied to pull one back through Andre Ayew with his 11th goal of the season.

As the Welsh side pushed for an equalizer, they were hit by a late sucker punch from Watkins with his second of the game two minutes from time.

It was Ayew’s fifth goal in four games, increasing his total tally of the season to 11 goals in all competitions.

Ayew scored against Blackburn, hit a double against Middleborough before netting the winner against Luton United over the weekend.
