Rapper and record producer, Paul Nuamah Donkor, popularly known as Jayso, is alleging that music producer Appietus stole his beat.
According to him, Appietus took his beat after receiving it from rapper Tinny and put his signature on it.
Jayso revealed on ‘The Soundboy Session’, that the beat in contention is that of Tinny’s ‘Akwei Polo’ song.
Recounting the experience, Jayso said he gave Tinny some beats and he decided to take one to Appietus for a song.
He stated that when the song was released, he heard Appietus’ signature on the song.
‘I gave Tinny a couple of beats. He picked that one and took it to Appeitus. Next thing I knew was the song was out with Appietus signature on it”, he revealed.
Jayso argued that his colleague sound engineer didn’t make much changes to what he produced.
Jayso explained his beat is heavy on drums—and anyone who listens to the song will know that it wasn’t produced by Appietus.
According to him, when he confronted Appietus, the veteran producer did not show any concern because at that time, he was not popular.
