Chairperson of the Ghana’s Film Classification Committee, Socrate Safo, believes George Lutterodt lacks wisdom in his mode of communication.
Counsellor George Lutterodt had said in a live television programme on Adom TV that rape victims enjoy the act.
Actress Ama K Abebrese was the first celebrity to condemn the statement sparking agitations on social media over the matter.
The actress has also started a campaign in which she is seeking thousands of signatures to help ban the popular counsellor from media platforms.
However, Socrate Safo, feels there is a bit of truth in the statement by the Counselor Lutterodt.
In his opinion, Lutterodt only refused to add public wisdom to his communication.
”Even Jesus Christ, the son of God, upon all his powers when preaching to the masses, he spoke in proverbs knowing the level of maturity, the level of understanding of human beings, he mostly spoke in parables. Counselor is not communicating with common sense, Counselor is not applying wisdom to his communication. He speaks raw to the masses, that has been his biggest challenge since day one.” he said on ‘Best Entertainment Show’ on Okay FM.
“If Counselor changes his communication approach to a better level, he would rather build society than destroying always. There’s a bit of truth in whatever he said but the communication. Wisdom is how you apply your trade depending on the person at the receiving end”, Socrate Safo added.
Meanwhile, Counsellor Lutterodt has described those calling for his head as people suffering from demonic attack.
