He emphasised that the programme was designed to help beneficiaries secure sustainable livelihoods, avoid criminal activities, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the community.

The Assembly member also stated that the initiative was fully funded by him in partnership with “P and N Electronics,” aimed at equipping local youth with employable skills to help curb unemployment and reduce social vices within the community.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to make full use of the skills they had acquired, adding that the world was full of opportunities for those willing to work for them.

He stated that collaborative efforts would create a ripple effect of positive change, reduce poverty, fight drug abuse, and build a more prosperous and crime-free country.

Degbengyo Obrikibi Amnado Okordie I, the Paramount Chief of North Ntrubo and his kinsmen commended the assembly member for his selfless and commendable intervention and that such initiatives were rare, especially as assembly members received no formal allowances or salary for their services.

The Paramount Chief praised the assembly member’s dedication to community development and his commitment to youth empowerment and therefore urged him to continue his good works.

The beneficiaries thanked their benefactor for providing them with new pathways towards financial independence and pledged to make good use of the skills they had acquired.
