Ghanaian songstress Rebecca Akosua Acheampong, better known as Becca, has made known her goals and resolutions for the year 2020.

Even though these goals are for her good, one particular goal will be a big blow to the music industry in Ghana.

Being one of Ghana’s finest artiste, Becca’s announcement to quit music in the next 12 months is not an easy pill to swallow.

According to Becca, she needs to spend time with family and focus on her several investments.

“This is the beginning of another decade. What are your plans this decade?” she asked on Instagram.

“I’ll briefly share 3 of mine;
1. End my 13 years as a “RECORDING” artist by the end of 2020.
2. Focus on my several investments
3. Spend more time with my family. “

Becca is married to Nigerian artiste manager, Tobi Sanni and the couple is blessed with a baby girl.

She, however, promises to invest heavily in a new and upcoming artiste she believes is worthy, after her reign.

Becca added: “Each of these plans is backed up with cutting edge blueprint. As a professional, you need to know when to start and when to let go. I will be making substantive investment in a worthy and talented artist when I draw the curtains.

“But between now and the next 12 months, OMG it’s going to be smash hits after smash hits.”
