Ghanaian artist Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy does not see reason with politicians contesting elections as independent candidates.
In his view, independent presidential candidates have no chances of winning the polls in Ghana.
Making it clear his comment is no disrespect to any candidate, the artist described it as “a waste of time” on the part of aspirants.
“I think I understand my space enough to know that being an independent candidate is a waste of time. If there is a ship already going, join one ship and add whatever you want to add.
“You might think being an independent candidate will survive but I think you have to join the foundation to build yours,” he explained on Metro TV.
When asked about his political ambitions, he said politics is about serving, and he has done more than that with his music and foundation.
Stonebwoy also revealed that he will cast his vote in the December 2020 polls.
