The Ashanti Regional President of the Ghana Actors Guild, Bill Asamoah, has called on his fellow actors to take advantage of measures and initiatives put in place for them to secure their future.
Speaking in an interview, Bill said, the new initiative to have the insurance company, GLICO, help members of the informal sector to pay their pension is a laudable one.
However, he reiterated that the most important thing was for members of his guild have to take steps to benefit from the initiative. He said, other initiatives as this exist, yet many of his colleagues have had to come out in public to seek help when they are retired.
Bill Asamoah concluded his interview by reminding his colleagues, to always look to the future and remember they will not be energetic and active forever.
