However, he blamed the former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Catherine Afeku for not providing resources to undertake tasks.

“I think the former Tourism and Creative Arts Minister, Catherine Afeku should be blamed for the poor performance of creative ambassadors. She refused to allocate the necessary funds that we needed for our various projects. I even released a song that I thought could stop the people from defecating at the beaches. I thought she could have done better in that regard,” he said on Accra FM.

Lucky Mensah said his quest to fight open defecation on the beaches of Cape Coast in the Central Region, was not achieved due to the failure of the former minister to provide him with the needed funds.

The singer believes that the grievances of the ambassadors caused President Akufo-Addo to remove her from her position as minister of the sector.
