The Bono Regional Police command has arrested two suspects, in connection with a theft incident that occurred at London Borga, a suburb in Dormaa-Ahenkro.

According to reports, the complainant, madam Addai Faustina, a 55-year-old farmer, returned home on December 12, 2025, and found out that the doors of her six-bedroom apartment have been tempered with.
The statement indicated that She discovered thieves had broken in and stolen items including two 65″ Hisense television sets valued at Ghc24,000, a decoder valued at Ghc 350, and cash of Ghc 3,000 from her apartment and reported to the police.
The Regional Operational Patrol team, who were conducting a stop-and-search operation on the Sunyani-Berekum highway, stopped a Toyota Sienta passenger car with registration number BR 135-25.
The statement said a search for the vehicle led to the recovery of the stolen items, including the two television sets, a multi-TV decoder, and remote, as well as some electrical cables.
Upon interrogation, the suspects admitted stealing the items from Dormaa-Ahenkro in the Bono Region.
They were subsequently arrested and detained for further investigation, it said adding that efforts were underway to prepare suspects to face prosecution at the court.
The statement has assured the public that police will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that perpetrators of crime are brought to justice and commended the public for their continued support and cooperation in the fight against crime.
