According to a police press release dated December 27, preliminary findings indicate the act was intentional.

Issah was arrested by the Ayimensah Abokobi Police on the day of the fire. Tomlinson, who allegedly went into hiding, was subsequently apprehended on Christmas Day, December 25.

“Both suspects are currently in police custody assisting investigations, and they will be put before the court to face charges in accordance with the law,” the CID confirmed.

The release was signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, the CID Public Relations Officer.
