Christian Atsu ‘may become a coach in future’

Ghana winger Christian Atsu says he may become a coach in future when he ends his playing career.

The 27-year-old may try and follow in the footsteps of current Black Stars Kwesi Appiah, his assistant Charles Akonnor and among other former players who have ended up as managers.

“Maybe me. I have been doing a coaching course and when I have been playing I have always tried to study the game,” he said in an interview with NUFCTV.

“So you never know, maybe I will be a future manager.”

Atsu has been capped 62 times by Ghana and plays his club football for Newcastle United in the English Premier League, making over 100 appearances since 2016.
